Waħdi f'tarf ta' rdum
mingħajr ħadd li jista' jwaqqafni
bla ħadd li jrid jgħidli:
'Għaliex?  kuraġġ ħanini'

Il-Mulej li tilifni
u spiċċajt waħdi
l-maħbub li telaqni
waħdi.  F'oċean.

Oċean ta' niket
mgħodija mdemma'
ruħ mġarrfa
bla ma jien qatt ridt

iva waħdi
ngħum f'labirint
ta' kif u meta u għaliex
Fehmni trid?

Tħallinix aktar waħdi
Mel'insejtha l-eżistenza tiegħi?
raġel maħbub
għaliex tħallini waħdi?

Imma aħjar le
ma nsaqsix.  nibża
għax nibqa' waħdi
waħdi
         mas-skiet tal-lejl
         u l-ġenn tal-jum.

The Ring that changed my life
the wind that brought new breeze
the rain which fell over me
and changed me and made me feel at ease

It happened all abruptly
without giving me any notice
without having any motive
with nothing in the way

the rain poured all over me
washed my soul inside out
and what was once apathy
turned into faith and love

three little diamonds
become my dearest friends
as they have become my window
to the winds of change

head over the heels

i wanna be the shoulder
for you to lean on me
i'll be by your side
for you to feel at ease

you're the one I'm crying over
all over and again
more than once daily
the reason's a despair

afraid of the consequences
of what might eventually arise
my heart's deepest secret
is just left too much aside

and as i sit beside you
i wonder what you feel
i wish you wish just like me
and show me what it means

for you to have me near you
just smiling, gazing, wondering,
what you mean by smiling
whilst joking and whilst grumbling

how boring i may be
how utterly exasperating
but while you are complaining
remember i'm still dreaming.

but it's so complicated

as i watched our story dismally.
